Student Advisory SystemEach faculty member acts as advisor and local guardian to 10–15 students, guiding them in academics, extracurriculars and personal matters. A one-hour advisor class is held weekly, and students can approach their advisor anytime.

Teacher–Student CouncilTeacher–Student council meetings are conducted twice every semester to hear and address student needs.

Motivational & Career Guidance LecturesMotivational and career-guidance lectures by eminent people, alumni and resource persons, plus encouragement to attend webinars run by universities and organizations.

Placement CellAn active Placement Cell led by an in-charge staff member updates students on job vacancies, invites companies for campus interviews, and shares openings with alumni via the 'NS Alumni' WhatsApp group.

Development Assistant, NABARD

2016–2020 Batch

Started preparing for banking exams in his third year with professors' guidance. After JRF classes conducted during COVID-19 helped him secure a PG seat, he cleared four exams simultaneously — IBPS PO, FCI AG-III, SBI JA and NABARD DA — and now works as a Development Assistant at NABARD.

Completed B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture and pursued M.Sc. in Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore. He is now proudly serving as faculty in the Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry at NS Agricultural College.

Selected as a Village Agriculture Assistant in his 4th year with a state 52nd rank, and promoted to Agriculture Extension Officer on merit within five years of service — crediting the college library and JRF classes for his competitive-exam preparation.

2016–2020 Batch

Prepared for the JRF with professors' guidance and secured a PG seat in the Department of Entomology. After her PG she focused on competitive exams and cleared FCI AG-III, and now works as a Technical Assistant Grade III at the Food Corporation of India.
