As per the guidelines of Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University, Guntur, the college undertakes a Village Adoption Programme every year to strengthen its outreach to the farming community and support rural development and awareness activities.

Diagnostic Field Visits are conducted at fortnightly intervals by a dedicated committee of Assistant Professors from the Departments of Agricultural Extension, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agricultural Entomology and Plant Pathology. The team interacts directly with farmers, identifies pest and disease problems, and provides advisory services and need-based technical information.

The college organizes farmers' training programmes to reach out to the farming community, understand their problems, and provide appropriate guidance and advisory services with expert support — helping farmers adopt improved practices and achieve better crop yields.

These programmes create awareness about major pests and diseases, their identification and recommended management practices, and educate farmers on newly emerging technologies and innovations for sustainable, productive farming.

With the support of nearby KVK / DAAT Centre / RARS, students organize Rythu Sadassu programmes every year, bringing together farmers from nearby villages. Faculty members and scientists address the farmers, offering insights into crop cultivation practices and guidance on improving productivity and sustainability.

Students also organize exhibitions of models and posters on advanced agricultural technologies and best management practices, actively explaining them to farmers — making the learning process interactive and practical, and promoting the adoption of innovative, sustainable technologies.
