About N.S. Agricultural College
Established in 2016 by the Sri NS Educational Society, N.S. Agricultural College at Gobburu village, Markapur is the first agricultural college in the western part of Prakasam district — dedicated to delivering exceptional education, innovative extension, and entrepreneurship, and to shaping the rural youth of Andhra Pradesh into job creators.

Management
The ambition of Sri Nadella Subramanyam has always been to educate the rural youth of Prakasam district by imparting the latest knowledge and technology in agriculture and allied fields. With this vision, the Sri NS Educational Society was established in 1997 and NS Agricultural College in 2016.
Nadella Subramanyam, B.Sc.
FounderBusinessman turned philanthropist, Sri Nadella Subramanyam founded the Sri NS Educational Society, which has been instrumental in assisting rural children and youth through scholarships, educational materials and health check-ups. His services include providing clean drinking water in water-deficit regions of Prakasam district and constructing community temples. His aspiration to educate rural youth in the latest agricultural technologies was realised with the establishment of NS Agricultural College in 2016 — an institute rooted in hard work, transparent communication, teamwork and a deep sense of responsibility.
Nadella Chandra Mouli, B.E.
ChairmanSri Nadella Chandra Mouli brings 15 years of experience in the software industry, having travelled extensively across the United States and the United Kingdom. He returned to India with a vision to build a strong foothold in business and, drawing inspiration from his father, embraced philanthropy and social service. With a keen interest in agricultural development in his native region, he established an agricultural farm and now serves as Chairman of the Sri NS Educational Society — reflecting his dedication to educating the younger generation with scientific and practical knowledge.
Dr. RVSK Reddy, Ph.D.
Associate DeanWith 36 years of vast experience in agriculture, Dr. RVSK Reddy took charge as Associate Dean in 2022. He has authored 119 research articles, 99 popular articles, 8 short communications and 38 other publications. His many honours include the Best Scientist (Extension) award from the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (2009), the Seed Scientist award (2016), the Eminent Scientist Award (2017) and the Distinguished Scientist Award (2018). He was involved in the release of seven coconut varieties — including the first coconut hybrid 'Godavari Ganga' — and two vegetable varieties.
Sri N.S. Educational Society (SNSES)
The ambition of Sri Nadella Subramanyam garu, General Secretary and Correspondent of the Sri NS Educational Society, is the root of this institute. His unquenchable thirst to educate the rural youth of Prakasam district with the latest knowledge and technology in agriculture led to the establishment of the Sri NS Educational Society in 1997 — which began helping rural children and youth through scholarships, books, health check-ups, construction of community temples and provision of clean drinking water.
The society's work reached a new level with the establishment of NS Agricultural College in 2016, offering B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture in an inspirational and congenial atmosphere for acquiring knowledge and skills with high ethical values. Established with the approval of the Government of Andhra Pradesh and affiliated to ANGRAU, Lam, Guntur, it received ICAR accreditation in February 2024 for five years. It is located at Gobburu village, 8 km west of Markapur town in Prakasam district, Andhra Pradesh.
The institute's core objectives rest on three pillars — delivering exceptional education, devising innovative extension strategies for sustainable agriculture, and equipping students to excel as entrepreneurs and job creators — as it proudly graduates promising individuals every year.
