DEPARTMENT OF BIOCHEMISTRY AND BIOTECHNOLOGY
This department focuses on teaching the students about intersection of biochemical processes and biotechnological applications in agriculture. This department studies the chemical mechanisms within living organisms and applies that knowledge to improve agricultural productivity, sustainability, and food security through biotechnology. This department has one well equipped laboratory of 1650 sq.ft. area. Students learn qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemicals, extraction of oil from seeds, etc.
