DEPARTMENT OF ANIMAL PRODUCTION
This department teaches the students about all aspects of breeding, nutrition, genetics, etc. of livestock, with the goal of improving animal productivity, efficiency, and sustainability in agricultural systems. The institute has one ‘Gosala’ in the farm where the cattle are reared and bred. The Institute is maintaining Cow rearing unit (Goshala) containing 13 cattle and 12 calves.Other practical classes are being conducted at private dairy and poultry units and Animal Husbandry and Fisheries departmental centres.

In addition, by utilizing highly effective business, administrative and student information systems, the office provides advocacy for the colleges academic departments & programme.
